Quaint Old Barn

Thought I'd share this image of a really quaint old barn.  I took this one day in January while helping someone learn some tricks on their camera.  I LOVE old things... barns included.  I'm really not sure if I like this one better in color or sepia.  I love the COLOR that pops out in the color version - but the sepia version sure does have such a nice vintage look.

2011 Christmas Mini Sessions

It is finally time to announce the details of the Christmas Mini Sessions (November 19, 21 and 22 only)!  I am very excited about the Christmas set this year.  I'm working with Brad Mudd from designs by Brad on the set design and we are planning a super fun theme - "Inside the Gingerbread House".  Lots of candy and snow and sparkly fun things!!

For the first time, I am offering mini sessions - these are 15-20 minute sessions that are very theme oriented and designed with Christmas cards in mind.  Mini sessions work by Package only (all the fun info on those can be found below) - each package includes a discount on additional a la carte items.

The sessions will be held on November 19, 21 and 22 by appointment only!  Appointments are limited - and I'm booking them on a 1st come-1st serve basis (so don't wait to schedule!).

A Few of the Details:
** The sessions will last 15-20 minutes (one outfit per session, due to the time limit)
** You choose one of 4 packages (see details below) - each package includes a discount on additional products - this includes all prints, frames (and frame ornaments!), mini accordion albums, and books.  This is a great chance to score some awesome Christmas gifts for friends & family!
** Sessions will include between 8 to 12 images in an online gallery for proofing
** All packages include a custom profile picture for use on Facebook (you choose the image(s)).  Click here to view the Facebook profile templates.

Little Things

This was the view out my back door a few mornings ago.  I'm not usually this.... 'touch-feely'... but something about this reminds me to slow down - enjoy the view - take it all in - look for it.  Sometimes we just get too busy to "see" what really is all around us - people, nature, sights, sounds, smells, moments.  These things are always there - but how often do we let them just pass us by?

It's the little things that really do matter - and if you think about it - our lives are filled with little things.  I want to get better at making those little things more important.
